Medtronic Sets Single
Deadline for Minneapolis/St. Paul Health in the Community Grants
Deadline: July 15, annually
The Medtronic Foundation (
http://www.medtronic.com/foundation/), the giving arm of
Minneapolis-based medical technology company Medtronic, Inc. (http://www.medtronic.com/),
has announced that it has consolidated its three Minneapolis/ St. Paul
"Health in the Community" grant application deadlines to a single
annual deadline, July 15.
The foundation's Twin Cities Health in the Community
program supports organizations providing health care to socioeconomically
disadvantaged people in the seven-county Minneapolis/St. Paul
metropolitan area. Priority is given to programs that reduce racial
disparities in health care.
In general, the foundation only funds organizations with
501(c)(3) status. (Public and private schools, educational institutions,
and organizations based outside of the United States are the only
exceptions to this rule.)
For more information on the Twin Cities Health in the
Community program, as well as the Medtronic Foundation's grant
programs in communities outside of Minneapolis/St. Paul region, see the
foundation's Web site.
The above financial opportunities will be refreshed by
DBSA staff monthly.
Check back often.
