Tribute Donations

Honorary Donations
What better way to honor a special person or occasion (perhaps a birthday, wedding, anniversary or holiday) than by helping others? An honorary donation to DBSA will help provide education and support to millions of people and is a perfect way to celebrate a special person or occasion.

  • Honorary gifts can be a one-time donation. After DBSA receives your honorary gift, we will send a letter to the honoree acknowledging your thoughtful donation; however, the amount given is never indicated. You may add a personalized message to the letter if you wish; just let us know what you want to say on the form. You will receive a letter acknowledging your donation as well.
  • Gifts may also establish an Honorary Tribute Fund. The fund will enable you to inform others to give to DBSA in honor of your special event. You will receive a list of donors on a regular basis that will allow you to send your own thank you note. If you wish, we can also send you a supply of donation envelopes.

Memorial Donations
One way to pay special tribute to a deceased family member, friend or coworker is by making a Memorial Donation to DBSA. A gift in their name will help DBSA provide education and support to those living with depression and bipolar disorder all across the country. The information and support we provide on a national level, through our chapters and support groups, helps people get the assistance they need for themselves or for their family and friends.

Your gift to DBSA will help us educate people that these illnesses are medical diseases reducing the stigma that prevents people from seeking treatment.
